Over 30 years of achievement
The company's history is built on investments and expansions that over the years have increased its production capacity and allowed for greater flexibility in the work cycle. These investments have resulted in new factories, which cover 30,000 square meters in the same industrial area. Menphis S.p.A. has evolved and thrived through the years by making investments targeted at boosting its competitiveness and visibility on the market. The succession of generations has evolved wisely, exporting expertise to five continents. Exports account for approximately 60-70% of overall production.

Industrialization of the wallpaper printing process with our products, as for example gold and silver metallic leaf.
Patent registered for the Blob machine.
The company transitioned to a group structure. The Menphis Group was born.
Invention of new summit products.
The new warehouse was inaugurated, and all activities are clustered in a single production site. Employees increased to two hundred. Overall floor space owned by Menphis S.p.A. rose to 40,000 m2. Invention of new scratch products.
Industrial painting department and machinery assembly shop inaugurated.
The year 2007 boasted record revenue.
In 2005, Menphis S.p.A. occupied 25,000 m2, with one hundred thirty full-time employees.
In May, the ribbon was cut to inaugurate the new offices, followed in 2003 by opening of the new production site, and a warehouse in 2004.
The engraving division, a source of pride for the company, was inaugurated on the eve of the second millennium, poised to conquer new markets. The course of Menphis's history is a rapid string of figures: in 2000, the number of employees rose past 100.
Thanks to the introduction of new products and the expansion of the sales network, 1998 was a year of economic boom; Menphis S.p.A. doubled its revenue.
In 1995, Menphis added Unitrans, a product specific for fabrics, synthetic and natural leathers, as well as acid paper (skins), to its arsenal.
In the late '80s the family founded MENPHIS S.p.A. in a large industrial area, and in 1992 it opened a transfer paper production unit featuring the first gravure line, quickly followed by a second unit.
In 1983 the Menin family set up its first company, CA.TE.CO., to develop fabric printing technologies (transfer printing) with gold and silver foil effects; in just under two years CA.TE.CO grew to employ 70 people.
Transfer printing technology was born in Italy in 1976, when the first experiments were conducted in this area.
